Mini Rebounder Trampoline
by Staff Writer
It is true that full size trampolines and mini rebounder trampolines are constructed with similar materials and both are contraptions that people bounce on. However, you should not make the mistake of assuming that they have similar purposes, potentials, and effects. The major difference in size between regular trampolines and mini rebounder trampolines results in the many differences in their usage.
A real trampoline is large enough for performing acrobatic tricks with ease because the trampolinist can bounce high enough (up to several feet), and slow enough to maintain control. Such tricks are practically impossible to execute on a rebounder because the bounces are so much lower (just several inches) and correspondingly, the rhythm is quicker.
Because a trampolinist can jump so much higher and attempt more acrobatic maneuvers, there is a definite potential for injury on a full-sized trampoline. Fortunately, mini rebounder trampolines with their lower bounces are not dangerous, unless one foolishly attempts to do acrobatics on them.
Higher bounces result in more G force when landing, which strengthens the cells of the bouncer’s body. A quicker rhythm when bouncing is a stronger pump for the bouncer’s lymph system. So, using a trampoline can be more strengthening than rebounding, but rebounding can be better for the circulation.
Finally, due to the larger size, a trampoline is usually found outdoors, which limits its usefulness during inclement weather. Rebounders, especially the folding models, can be carried outside or set up inside the house. Therefore, rebounders, unlike full-sized trampolines, can be used year round for optimal results.
